Project Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

ISG is seeking an experienced professional to provide valued project management to clients and communities.  This position will play a vital role in ISG's continued efforts in being the preferred firm for professional services.  Our Project Managers oversee the technical application, design, construction, and implementation for projects to ensure profitability and proper utilization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Identify client goals, objectives, and expectations.
  • Build and enhance client relations.
  • Perform construction phase services.
  • Create agendas and lead meetings; maintain meeting notes, field notes.
  • Communicate project objectives and expectations to the project team.
  • Ensure positive communication as the main point of contact between ISG and our clients.
  • Provide timely delivery of project solutions and ensure those deliveries align with client needs and ISG expectations.
  • Facilitate code reviews and ensure space planning, design, and the technical aspects of the project exceed client expectations.
  • Ensure the development of internal staff and foster a mentoring culture.
  • Serve as an internal technical project expert.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management preferred.
  • Excellent oral & written communication skills for preparing and presenting plans, reports and projects.
  • Previous experience managing multiple construction projects, preferably with and A/E firm.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for facilitating relationships with clients and decision makers.
  • Creative problem solving skills to gather relevant information to solve less well-defined planning problems.
  • Ability to work on several projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with local, state and federal government processes.
