ISG's Landscape Architect plays an integral role in the multi-disciplinary team by managing all aspects of landscape, streetscape, and urban design projects.   • Perform professional level landscape architecture work related to the design, construction, and rehabilitation on various parks, landscaped areas, streetscapes, and urban design projects.
  • Liaison with clients, government and regulatory authorities, and contractors.
  • Prioritize overall project management and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Work under minimal supervision and manage complex landscape architectural projects requiring the use of independent judgement, initiative, and discretion.
  • Assist in the development of budgets, monitor expenditures, as well as resolving client service issues.
  • Develop, implement, interpret, and ensure compliance with rules and regulations, laws and codes, policies and procedures.
  • Project management responsibilities including preparing Request for Proposals (RFP's), evaluating proposals, and managing contractors and consultants.
  • Prepare and perform project presentations for clients, regulatory, and governing bodies;
  • Work on several projects at one time.


  • Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture.
  • PLA or ability to obtain in 6-12 months.
  • 2-5 years' of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and apply landscape design principles at a high level.
  • Thorough knowledge of plant species for urban settings, specifically in the upper Midwest.
  • Superior design skills including conceptual design.
  • A high level of technical and organizational skills accompanied by strong oral and written communications.
  • Exceptions presentation, hand drawing and computer skills with demonstrated expertise in Photoshop, Sketch Up, AutoCAD and 3D modeling skills desired.
  • Able to multi-task and establish priorities.
  • Previous project management experience.
  • Self-directed and can work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated track record of successful past employment.
