Marketing Manager

ISG's Marketing Manager is a critical, fast-paced, hands-on, forward-looking role that is focused on strategic marketing initiatives. This position is responsible for collaborating and/or leading marketing campaigns and strategic communications initiatives that support firm growth while upholding brand and messaging standards. Through intentional engagement initiatives, this position is also responsible for executing communications and digital efforts. As a key contributor in marketing execution initiatives, this position is responsible for researching current marketing trends and competition, and providing insight on opportunities that will positively advance firm.   • Media Management
  • Research
  • Identify appropriate advertising mediums that support strategic marketing efforts.
  • Media Buying/Vendor Management
  • Manage contract acquisition and relationship with vendors in conjunction with Marketing + Events Specialist.
  • Media and Marketing Project Management
  • Work with Marketing + Events Specialist to maintain tracking file that outlines media and editorial calendar, contract specifics, deadlines, and graphic needs ensuring deadlines are met and projects stay on track.
  • Promo Items/Swag
  • Manage firm needs and communication relative to offerings with direct support from Marketing + Events Specialist.


Office + Client Brand Ambassador

  • Office Branding
    • Work with interior design team and Marketing + Events Specialist, as necessary, to ensure firm locations are properly branded and continually enhanced to reflect ISG brand and culture.
  • Client Engagement + Appreciation
    • Manage client engagement and appreciation process with ISG team to ensure that proper resources and efforts are coordinated (e.g. holiday gifts, thank you notes, etc.).


Strategic Communications

  • Presentations + Client Meeting
  • Develop presentations and meeting needs, working directly with requestors and marketing team as needed.
  • Marketing Projects
  • Manage marketing related projects (e.g. creation of ad, concept development, etc.), working with marketing team, key contributors, and stakeholders as needed and owning assigned projects.



External Communication

  • Press Releases
    • Distribute press releases and provide hit rates, pickups, and other post release stats.
  • Event Management/Tradeshows/Employee Events
    • Oversee management Marketing + Events Specialist events duties, progress, and general success.
  • Lead pre/post-event analysis discussions with key stakeholders to ensure success.
    • Act as key researcher and contributor to market and office analysis, determining appropriate events and brand presence.


Digital/Social Media

  • Email Marketing (Newsletters, Direct Marketing, Surveys, Invitations, Announcements)
    • Oversee compilation and distribution of email marketing initiatives by Marketing + Events Specialist per the strategic marketing plan schedule.
    • Provide basic performance reports with enhancement suggestions.
  • Social Media, Website, and Blog
    • Oversee social media efforts based upon market plan and strategic direction.
    • In collaboration with graphic designer and writers, ensure content, graphics and overall branding accurately reflect present needs and ISG brand.



  • Manage Marketing + Events Specialist.
  • Proof marketing materials with good understanding of basic grammar, punctuation, and writing best practices.
  • Participate in educational and professional opportunities to keep current with industry/market trends.




  • BA/BS in marketing, communications, or related field with at least five years of experience in a professional, relative role; preferably with some management experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Adobe AcrobatPro, and InDesign a plus.
  • Attention to detail with ability to think strategically.
  • Familiarity with Word Press and general social media sites (i.e. Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter).
  • Ability to travel to local offices as needed < 25%.
  • Detail oriented person with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Entrepreneurial, self-starter with hands on approach that emphasizes being responsive, eager, accountable, creative, and ingenious in every interaction.
  • Experience in A/E helpful but not required.
  • Ability to work 40 hours a week.
